Faced with Multiple Conditions, Some Kidney Stone Patients Struggle to Find a Suitable Diet

Faced with multiple medical conditions in addition to kidney stones, several patients in our community have been struggling to find a suitable diet. Higher sodium intake is recommended for conditions such as postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and low blood pressure, yet this leaves them at higher risk of kidney stones.

As proper lifestyle management is key to reducing stone recurrence, #urologists can help patients better manage their medical conditions by recommending a suitable diet.
