Dornier MedTech receives the iF Design award for the Compact Sigma lithotripter
KENNESAW, GA – MAY 18, 2004 – The inventor of extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy (ESWL), Dornier MedTech, has been awarded with the iF Design Award for medical devices for its new modular lithotripter, the Dornier Compact Sigma.
The Compact Sigma is a distinctive shock wave system with many technologically advanced features. Features include a 140 mm electromagnetic shock wave source, a flexible over- and under-table therapy head and the motorized Dornier Relax+ patient table.

The iF Design Award is granted annually and is renown in the international design community.
