Dornier MedTech names new general manager for Dornier MedTech America
KENNESAW, GA – Janaury 17, 2001 – Dornier MedTech has recently named Brian Walsh as its new general manager of Dornier MedTech America (DMT America).
Prior to his appointment, Walsh served as vice president of international marketing for Dornier MedTech GmbH, the parent company of DMT America.
Walsh holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., as well as a master’s and bachelor’s degree in bioengineering from the University of California, San Diego. Prior to joining Dornier, Walsh held various marketing, planning and product development positions at leading diagnostic and therapeutic medical device organizations.

DMT America is a subsidiary of Munich-based Dornier MedTech, which pioneered the development of extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy 20 years ago. Dornier has the largest installed base of over 1,000 lithotripters internationally. DMT America markets and services Dornier products in North America .
