The Compact Sigma is a modular lithotripter combining proven Dornier Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) with a multi-functional patient table and X-ray C-arm to create the complete solution for lithotripsy and endourological procedures. When combined with other items such as ultrasound, lasers, scopes, etc… the Compact Sigma becomes a complete multifunctional workstation. Using proven Dornier Electromagnetic Shock Wave Emitter (EMSE) technology, the Compact Sigma delivers consistent, reliable energy. With high penetration depth and a wide dynamic range the EMSE is ideal for a spectrum of applications.
C-arm interface to the Compact Sigma is secured through mechanical coupling and laser guided alignment. This ensures focal zone accuracy and stone localization.
Imaging flexibility is obtained through X-ray or optional isocentric ultrasound. The C-arm rotates allowing visualization of stones from various positions. The optional isocentric ultrasound uses a patented localization arm making ultrasound targeting quick and easy.
