Power Bar technology uses individual bars of high performance diodes which are combined into a single block with integral cooling. The laser light generated is focused by micro-optics and coupled directly into the laser fiber.

Ideal Wavelength
Photo-biological tests have shown the laser wavelength around 940 nm to be ideal with respect to light absorption in water and blood. It provides a good ratio between the light irradiated into the tissue and the absorption by hemoglobin and water. This produces excellent coagulation and vaporization effects even in light tissue.
LPS, Light guide Protection System
The LPS protection system powers off the laser if excessive carbonization occurs at the fiber tip. This prevents fiber tip ignition and any unforseen laser light exposure at the site of any fiber breaks.
Fibertom Cutting Mode
The Fibertom cutting mode regulates the laser power to ensure the temperature at the fiber tip remains constant. This produces even, reproducible cutting irrespective of cutting speed. This mode also prevents fiber tip ignition by reducing the output power when the fiber tip loses contact with the tissue.
