Dornier MedTech unveils its new premium lithotripter, the Dornier Lithotripter S II during Medica 2003

WESSLING, GERMANY – NOVEMBER 13, 2003 – Dornier MedTech, the inventor of extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) and market leader, unveiled it’s latest addition of next generation lithotripters, the Dornier Lithotripter S II on November 19 during Medica 2003 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The Dornier Lithotripter S II is a premium multifunctional urological workstation which provides all capabilities needed to perform both ESWL and endourology procedures. It combines the proven ESWL technology with a spectrum of electromagnetic shock wave source (EMSE) technologies, a motorized rotating therapy head, and multifunctional table. The fully digital X-ray chain and advanced imaging features, such as high resolution color LCD monitors, are combined to provide superior image quality. For optimal data management, the Dornier Lithotripter S II can be integrated into a facility using the comprehensive DICOM 3.0 capabilities.
