Compact Delta II - Description

The compact and easily transportable Compact Delta II is effective and easy to use. The fully integrated shock source and C-arm make set-up fast and reliable while avoiding the risk of misalignment. This design, along with the isocentric movements of the therapy head and imaging system, ensure precise stone localization.

The Compact Delta II uses proven Dornier Electromagnetic Shock wave Emitter (EMSE) technology to deliver consistent, reliable energy. Imaging flexibility is obtained through x-ray or optional isocentric ultrasound. The C-arm rotates +/- 30 degrees allowing visualization of stones from various positions and offers two modes of X-ray: standard fluoroscopy, and boost fluoroscopy. The optional isocentric ultrasound uses a patented localization arm making ultrasound targeting quick and easy.

Unique Motorized Therapy Head

The unique motorized therapy head introduces shock waves from various orientations allowing all treatments to be conducted with patients positioned comfortably on their backs.

  • Motorized lateral and horizontal movement
  • Treats in both over- and under-table positions
  • Shockwaves are emitted from various orientations

Isocentric Design

The isocentric design allows both the shockwave and the imaging system to revolve around a single point.  This ensures precise alignment of the targeting system and the shockwave focus at all times.

  • Both shockwave and imaging systems revolve around a single point
  • Precise alignment of the targeting system and the shockwave focus
  • Scanning plane continually passes through the focal spot as imaging angles change
  • Easier to target under difficult conditions

Tri-Mode Imaging

The Compact Delta II offers flexible imaging options which can be used independently or in combination.

  • Single mode imaging using either X-ray, FarSight or Isocentric ultrasound
  • Dual mode imaging using two imaging options
  • Dornier unique Tri-mode imaging combining all three imaging techniques for the optimal imaging solution

Treatment Flexibility

The versatile, modular design makes the Compact Delta II the optimal solution for all areas of urological diagnosis and therapy, including lithotripsy, endourology, percutaneous procedures and diagnostic X-ray. The ability to separate the therapy head and C-arm, the flexibility of the fully motorized Relax+ patient table and variety of accessories make this the perfect multi-functional system.

Relax+ Patient Table

  • Radiolucent table holds up to 180 kgs (396 lbs)
  • Zero bladder cut-off and large travel ranges allow the display of the entire urinary tract
  • Exchangeable, radiolucent mid-sections
  • Flexible table has X, Y, Z and trendelenburg movement with an isocentric and non-isocentric tilt feature
