Dornier MedTech introduces the Compact Sigma to the US at the 99th Annual American Urological Association meeting
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – MAY 11, 2004 – The inventor of extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy (ESWL), Dornier MedTech, introduced the latest addition to its technologically advanced lithotripters, the Compact Sigma, on May 9 during the 99th annual American Urological Association meeting in San Francisco, California.
The Compact Sigma, is a distinctive, modular, shock wave system with many technologically advanced features. Features include a 140 mm electromagnetic shock wave source, a flexible over- and under-table therapy head and the motorized Dornier Relax+ patient table. The Compact Sigma is ideal for all ESWL applications and is now available for purchase in the American, European and Asian markets.
